...yes and no....I run full circle so, initially, I run, but eventually end up right back where I started to face whatever caused me to run in the first place...

I was a runner almost all of my life not due to choice but circumstances. I went to 12 grade schools and 7 high schools and then was in the army. Then married and my husband went into the service. What I have found is it robs a person of substance. They don't learn to work through problems or have lasting friendships. A true friendship is one where you can have disagreements and work through them intelligently rather than running away. Now that I have the privilege of staying put I am learning how to be a genuine friend and to take care of my troubles. It really makes one stronger. I still get a little freaked out if I feel some people are getting too close to me but I stay and I learn even though change is harder at my age. You do no one a favor by letting them run you over...it is not good for your self-respect or their character. It is true a rolling stone gathers no moss. Now that I have stayed put I have real cute things for my apartment and I love my little home. Mmm

Well, I live in Ohio and once I sold my house and got plane tickets to California to get away from everyone. I lived there for 2 yrs. before coming back home!

Ya I've tryed it before but it doesn't really help. I still usually want to run when something really bad is going on but I usually stay and sort everything out

As much as I would love to, I can't. I need to stick around and find out the ending of the story.
