Absolutely not. In a "pure democracy" we might take a poll every day and then change all of our leaders and positions. Except for truly extreme situations, electing Presidents every four years, Senators every six years, and Representatives every two years is an excellent solution. Popular opinion is too whimsical and easily manipulated.
Like in California, where they elected a Governor twice and then changed their mind despite him not changing it is a bad idea.
The voters need to be more responsible about electing good people to start with and then holding them accountable in future elections.
