Randy Orton is a coward. He always has been. He didn't want to face John Cena for the title when they were on equal grounds. He needed a cowardly advantage in order to face Cena. So, when he did try to face HBK fair he discovered that he was going to lose, and decided to finish the match the cowardly way, by getting himself disqualified and still retain the title.

Because that was in the script? Seriously, I like wrestling but did you really think that HBK was going to get a title run? They are saving Orton's championship to battle HHH probably. In typical WWE fashion, they set up Shawn Michaels to look good, but Orton keeps the belt by getting DQed. Wrestling wouldn't be good if everyone on it was a good guy.
