Well, if we are doing a " real or otherwise" comparison of Great leaders, then yes, King Arthur would have my vote. Here is a man born a prince, but raised a peasant. Had everyone pretty much looking down on him, except Merlin. He found a very nice magic sword and defended his land with it. Now, since he had the sword that made him king in his hand, he had the option of being a total Tyrant. But no, He chose to unify Great Britain in bring it into a glorious era. Even in the end, when he was out manned and out maneuvered, he still fought with all of his heart to same his people. Yes, as leaders go, he is a legend.

Mithridates Eupator VI, aka Mithridates the Great, last King of Pontus, defied Rome for 40+ years, defeating some of their greatest generals. That was not easy to do in 65 BC.

Is this a wrestling question or a real history question? I'm really confused. I well either go with 'The Big Red Machine' or Attilla the Hun as the greatest warrior, heh.
