Who is better Sonic or Mario?

Who do you think is better.
I think that Sonic is way cooler then Mario.

As character's Sonic is SOO much cooler than mario - speed of light much?
MArio isn't THAT great, but the games are pretty cool
Seal said look at which is still around - and both characters are still around - there's the sonic game where you play as shadow and theres the sonic game where you control 3 characters

mario's still around and the games are pretty good too, it really just depends on your style, and the sonic anime(s) was/were pretty good

Mario definetly, hes's been around alot longer and is a classic figure to anyone in this world. Though well known sonic is not world renouned and sonic makes crappy games nowadays anyway while mario is still cool and funy to play. And besides, Marios got style.

mario, hes the man, and the plumber, plus theres more to a storyline to his games, in sonic all u do is run around collecting chaos emeralds and watching the clips, there both great game icons but i think sonic will get a 9/10 and mario gets a 10/10, but i do like both :)

Mario, by far. Mario's has excellent pizza. Sonic's tastes like cardboard.

MARIO sonic sucks all sonic's games do is you run and beat up a fat guy but in mario way better story line and i dont think bowser is that fat lol
