Well, is there any chance you could stop it because you're doing far worse to me and my family (and the environment) than a billion smokers ever could hope to achieve? I am sick of sucking in your carbon monoxide, benzene, formaldehyde, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and other fumes. PLEASE STOP DRIVING AND USING ANY TYPE OF TRANSPORT NOW!

No sorry, I need my car.

Anwyay I notice that the celebrities are politicians love to tell us peasants to get rid of our cars and "use public transport, walk or cycle" everywhere but how often do you see the likes of Madonna or Gordon Brown waiting in the p!ssing rain (with six shopping bags and a pushchair) for the crowded number 42 where the only seat left is next to the nutty old man who talks to himself and smells of wee? Exactly.

The difference between cars and factories which cause pollution and cigarettes (and other smoking tobacco) is that the car's and factory's main function isn't to create that pollution, while the cigarette's is. The pollution cars and factories make is a by-product of them, and emission controls have been set on them to attempt to lessen the amount of this by-product. However, cigarettes, pipe tobacco and any other smoking tobacco's main and only function is to create smoke. Period. And this smoke, this pollution, is inflicted upon others solely so that the person making it can enjoy it. This is selfishness incarnate. So please speak again when you get a clearer mind, one free of all of that self-inflicted smoke.

Yeah I just made that point in my answer to your last question...

Do you know what they mean when they say "particulate pollution" on your local weather report? "Particulates are high today so be careful", they are talking about dust and some airborn particles but they are also referring to something you NEVER hear about but which poses a much higher health risk than cigarette smoke does:

Rubber dust. When your rubber tires wear out, when they lose tread, where do you think all that rubber GOES? It doesn't evaporate and only a small amount permanently attaches to street surfaces. The rest floats in the air, contributing to that brown urban cloud which kills the young and the old, but which Cons assure us everyday is nothing to worry about, there's profits to be made, so leave us alone and just breathe shallowly.

No one ever committed suicide by locking themselves in the garage to smoke cigarettes to death.

However, brother, breathing in all those chemicals doesn't justify adding even MORE pollution (in the form of second hand smoke) to the air we all have to breath.

irrelevant

Earth is already over the edge
Europe will be in ice age in less than 3 years
and most American coastal will be underwater and the Mississippi will be where the great lakes will empty

so you should be using your transport while it is still available to set yourself up somewhere survivable

that's what the government already has done for itself
and not just because the Mormons gave them the inspiration

Yes.
You peasants should either walk or ride a bicycle.
But Al Gore and the Hollywood Environmentalists NEED their Private Jets to fly all around the world.
Because THEY are Important, and you are NOT!!!!!
Cool!!!!!

Those who spout a lot of hot air, then tax the rest of us for following suit are worse. By the way, did you use a soap-box or the Internet to get your message across!?.

Excellent point.

Second hand smoke might kill, but not reliably. No one ever locked themselves in a garage a lit up to commit suicide!

Update!
Hey Bert...no fair...that was my line! hahahaha, guess I should have typed faster lol.
Sorry I was distracted by the kids in the middle of my answer and took too long...
