i overused my arm, and my dminant arm is really weak now. i play basketball and im serious about this its been 2 and a half month since i got this injury. massage therapist said i also have damaged tissue around right back of my back. so that is why it was causing the weakness on my dominant arm. cuz the blood really didnt flow back to my arm very well. i also kept playing video games since i got this injury. but no bball. im soo frustrated, beacuse its still not healed yet. massage therapist said "its not a serious injury, dont worry about it".im just wondering if im gonna get 100% strength back. like do these kind of injuries fully heal?? (ive never expierenced any severe pain". im not really sure why its causing the weakness on my dominant arm but one day i got my ipod stolen. i got really stressed. too much. and since i got this injury i worried too much about it. im 15 years old. my main question is that if this is going to fully heal and my shoulder makes that clickin sound when.

Arm weakness can come from at least three different problems - injury to muscle, tendon, or nerves. Injury to the muscle heals with proper stretching and exercise, injury to the tendon requires more time than muscles - usually at least 3 months for inflammation to subside, then the treatment is the same as muscles. Injury to nerves may or may not heal, depending on the severity of the damage. You can usually tell the difference between nerve injuries and muscle or tendon injuries. Muscle and tendon injuries cause stiffness and aching, and sometimes a reduction in the range of motion. Nerve injuries cause tingling and numbness when they first occur, and they eventually cause weakness.

It is totally possible to get your strength back but if you push it and push it without giving your body time to heal your going to cause more and possibly permenant damage. I know it sucks having to wait this out, but do yourself a favor and heal right the FIRST time so there isn't a second time, make sense?
