If a champion gets DQ'ed, he loses the match, but retains the title. By hitting Michaels with a low blow, Orton lost the match, bu was still the WWE champ. DQ endings often are used to extend a title feud for longer, as seen by the Orton/HBK one now.

-Honestly, for Vince's sake to get ratings for Survivor Series.
-Orton lives like 10-15 minutes from my aparment. He was spotted at the Tan Co. & Gold's Gym I believe last Friday near me.
