actions speak louder than words, and if you truely care your actions will speak for themselves. also words are nice to and it gets the message across and leaves the person( if they care about you too) with a tingly feeling inside..

That depends on the situation or the person. Some people require more demonstrations of affection and caring, other just know you care because you are there.
Be a good friend, don't misuse them, be there when they cry and allow them to cry. celebrate their good fortune and don't flaunt your good fortune; if you feel it then say it, be honest in all dealings, be true to yourself and your friends, don't gossip or spread things said by others, don't listen to gossip from others.
For the next week, as you see each person who means something in your life.....imagine them gone. forever gone. What would you wish you had done or said to them?? then do it now before they are gone. A simple I love you before you leave the house for the day is great. It doesn't have to be a gift.
I like to send little cards and notes. I send them when I really don't have a reason other than I thought of that person that day and wanted them to know I had them in my head and heart. I love e-mails because It is a wonderful way for Friends to connect everyday without actually interrupting their day...just add a blessing.

to say u care is easy; to do something that shows u care, that gets the message across much better. Usually the things that take time, but less money are some of the most appreciated gifts.
If the person is a friend, you will know what actions would be accepted. You don't want the gesture to be misconstrued as charity, rather than the extension of friendship, which is what it is. If the person is a co-worker, and you r not that close to him/her, ask someone who is closer to that person what u might do to help. without more details, that's as good as I can do.

Start off with a flower, then listen undistracted to another person...and while listening, cuddling [no sex], but touching, re-assuring, comforting, and massaging after a hard day

Depends on how close you are to that person.
A touch on the shoulder, a pat on the hand, a hug.
