I would go back to the mid 40's and 50's. People were so happy the World War had ended, the population had good work ethics as they all worked towards making supplies for supporting the war and family values were had by the majority. As history progressed, parents wanted their children to have more than they did during the hard years of the war and began to give them too much, taught them too few skills and spoiled them rotten.
