Wow, that is absolutely terrible!!!! I had an appointment with the neurosurgeon at a teaching facility, I was there early for my appointment, checked in and waited and waited and waited. I saw people come in hours after I arrived, they came in, got seen and went home. Do you know why I wasn't seen? THEY misplaced my file and thought I was seen and left. Guess when the next available appointment was? 3 months later! I was totally pi$$ed.
Oh we could send you to "House" he is a diagnostician! And he is gorgeous too!

Did anyone even try to call you? I once waited over an hour before finding out my doctor was at the hospital delivering a baby. I went to lunch, took my time, and when I returned I was able to go right in. That was lucky!

So sorry, Melissa....what a day. Like everyone else, I can't believe that someone didin't call you. Well, hopefully you got to enjoy some of the pretty fall colors you were talking about in an earlier post. Glad you got back to us and let us know. Take good care. Gracie

Sorry you had to take the trip for nothing. Of course you did get to take a drive and get away for a few hours. It would have been nice if they had called and let you know the doctor was sick though.

I'm sorry you didn't get to see the doctor and they didn't let you know ahead of time. That happened to my mom not to long ago. They took her back to the exam room and left her sit there 45 minutes in one of those gowns. Then the dr. came and said her hand was hurting so bad that mom would have to come back another day! It's about 30 minutes from her house and she has to go alone, so she wasn't to happy about it either. Hope things go better for you when you go back in Dec. and that you're doing fine.

I guess even doctors get sick. You wouldnt want to see him in that way and get it yourself. Too bad they didnt know in time to prevent your wasted trip though. Hope it was nothing serious and can wait until December. good luck

I know you were disappointed not to hear your results and many wouldn't accept wreck-less waste of their time so graciously.
Sorry for the physician's illness and maybe you'll be given preference when you go back. Kindness extended never comes back void. I expect everything will be fine.
Blessings. Juju

Perhaps you should have done a house call, to your Doctor on the way home. that would have surprised him. And you could have got some answers.

Sounds more like a visit to the VA hospital. At any rate, hope you're doing well -- maybe they'll give you a Christmas present and actually be available.

Yes. Did someone try to call to tell you not to come? I surely would call before the Dec trip.
