The people who dislike A-Rod for opting out are, to a person, hypocrites. Not one would do anything different. Also, they are pathetically stupid. If next year he is guaranteed the best salary in baseball AND HE WALKS AWAY FROM THAT FOR NO GUARANTEE then how in the holy heart of Jesus Christ of Anaheim is he after money??? I could go on, but if I think about it these boobs will make me say things to be flagged.

1. I think he is a whiney PUNK! Timing of opt out, slapping glove in ALCS 2004, shouting in Toronto all point to him being a PUNK! ( I can admit he is a great player! but he is still a PUNK!)
2. If I were A-rod I would 1st stop being a PUNK! And then think about were the 30 and 20 mil offers were coming from! If a team like (GOOD LORD PLEASE NO, Red Sox) offered him 20 I'd jump all over it! You could ride Beckett, Manny and Ortiz to a Championship or two and earn that extra 10mil back in endorsements easily!
But being that A-rod is a PUNK, he will go to a team full of PUNKS! CUBS! No team seems to want to over pay for Punks like the new CUbs! Being that A-rod quits playing in October that sounds like a done deal and a perfect fit! Cubs always find a way to break out the Golf Clubs even if it takes blaming a stupid fan on a foul ball!

1. I hate A-Rod. I have to admit he's an amazing baseball player but he has a terrible personality. He's a real jerk.
2. Depends on what the two teams are. I'm not a greedy person, and if I prefer the team that offered me 20 mil, then I'll go there. If I don't like either team, I'll go to the team that pays me the most. But... I'll also have to see which team can take me to the world series :PP

A) I do not hate A-Rod I hope he gets a past Bonds on the HR list.
B) I would go with the team with the most potential to make it to the postseason. Even though if I was A-rod I would never come around in the clutch for my team.

No, I like him. He is the best player in the game, yet has been crapped on in New York. He is not opting out because he doesn't like the Yankees, though. He is opting out because he wants a longer contract than the 5 years the Yankees offered. And, considering the negative New York Press and the anti-ARod fans who only have room for their darling, Jeter, New York doesn't deserve him. People say he is greedy, but who wouldn't want to be paid commensurate with their talent?
And, regarding A-Rod's post season stats, they are actually better than anyone realizes. His on base average is better than Jeter's during his time with the Yanks, and his overall stats compare favorably with other sluggers such as Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, and others who are routinely "pitched around" in the post season.
Isn't it curious how nobody mentioned Jeter's .174 post season batting average this year or Posada's .133? Why is that????

A-Rod is on my bad side right now, so I have feelings of hatred. I'm sure those feelings will decrease over time, but I'll never look at him the same way again.
To answer your second question, It's not about the money with me, it would depend on the team.

I'm not a Yankees fan, but I hate A Rod.
Yea.. I'm a sox fan... but there are players that are good guys and good players; like Derek Jeter.
Then there is A-Rod who thinks he is a big shot... he plays dirty... remember when he was running to 2nd base and he shouted "MINE" so the players in the field wouldn't catch the ball?
He's just annoying.

Yes I do.
And nobody offered him 30 mil yet. he turned down 25 mil to see if he can get 30. I might stay with the sure thing.

I don't hate him, I just don't fully respect him for his occasional dirty play and aloof attitude of "it's about me, not my team".
I have no problem with him making as much as he wants by going elsewhere when he isn't enamored enough with the team he is with to be willing take less money.
