i think she is a good person and has a great show...but i think she took the whole "dog" situation way too seriously. i mean, she broke the contract and if the dog didnt get along with the cats she should have put one of the two in the yard....i mean isnt that where pets belong, out in the outdoors...but i understand if she lives in an aprtment...but even in that case she should have returned the dog

I do think she made a genuine emotional plea for the return of the dog. I don't think when your emotions are that caught up in the moment you don't have the hindsight to see what sort of damage it is going to do. I know I have pleaded once with someone over a very serious matter and I didn't at the time think of the ramifications of my actions until I had calmed down. I do think people went too far with threating and abusing the owners of moms and mutts but to me I don't see what gives them the right to withhold the pet. Particularly as a charity, it doesn't make sense to me that they can decide what is right for the pet. i really despise the idea of ownership on pets. I do believe we are responsible for our pets but for anyone who has had an overzealous dog or evil cat knows, you never own your pets. They own you.

I think shes just like every celebrity, whiny spoiled brat that couldnt handle real life problems like the rest of us have to deal with daily.Shes probably driving her 60,000$ car around and pulling into her 4 car garage at her 20 million dollar mansion on the beach and crying because her life is so terrible that she has nothing to live for while the pool boy (or pool lesbian) gives her full body massages and brings her the most expensive tequila in the world.Oh no how is she going to pay her bills?!!

Ellen should not have mentioned the dog agency's name. It was wrong for her to make her plea publicly & naming the agency was completely out of bounds.
Celebrities should not be able to use their clout to pressure others into breaking rules. I used to like her a lot more before this incident. It was a serious lapse of judgment on her part.
I'm glad she told people to stop harassing the volunteers at the dog agency.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ellen. She didn't ask people to go crazy like they did, she probably just wanted to bring lots of attention to the problem to maybe get Mutts and Moms to cave in. I don't hold her accountable for it, and I still LOVE LOVE LOVE Ellen, she is funny and creative!

It's not Ellens fault that we have some nuts out there that want to take out the dog site........come on........silly.........I felt bad for Ellen, but I wouldn't want to go take someone out, because Ellen was sad..........just a bunch of wackos, scary when you think about how many people out there, really exist.

I think it was an innocent mistake. She is a great entertainer either way and does a lot of nice things for people in need.
