You can download owners manuals for FREE right from the "My GM Owner Center" website.

I can't imagine why you would want to buy one from any where if it is available (digitally) for free!

You can check online or go to an American dealer and you can order the manual from them. If you shop around and buy it used than it will be cheaper. Nowaday its pretty much easier, and if you go to the shop you can ask more question. Not a repair shop ok...a dealer shop or a shop from a dealer that have parts and services. They don't have it they know where to tell you to go get it and they can tell you the price if you buying new one or used one from other smaller places. Your 1997 Monte Carlo is not that old, so the dealer shop parts and services should have it on stock for sure for you.
