Your question is so vague as to be almost impossible to answer. I am assuming ( never a good idea) that someone broke your heart in some way??

When someone breaks your heart you usually have two emotions. Obviously you are hurt but you are also usually angry. Your hurt is compounded by being rejected. Your anger makes you want to hurt back.

The best way to make the "bleeding stop", make the pain go away, is to get on with your life. Fill all your waking time with activity. Focus you life on new relationships. Not new lovers because you are wounded and vulnerable, but creative projects. Go white water rafting. Try scuba diving. Start a hobby. Throw yourself into work or studies. Keep your mind and body active.

Forget about revenge. A wise man once said "When you plot revenge dig two graves". Revenge does not make you feel better; it does not change or improve things for the better and often makes things worse., The best revenge is to live good. Forget the past and move on.

i'm sure you're not talking of a physical condition...lol figuratively there's nothing wrong with having a bleeding heart - it just means you're very compassionate and you empathize quite well with your friends' problems. you may however wish to tone it down a bit (not really stop altogether) coz some people would tend to "abuse" your kind heart and that's when the other kind of bleeding would really start...and that's not good.

You can't really make it stop. It'll just learn how to move on and let go.

With moving on and letting go, you can help your heart by focusing on yourself and taking care of yourself. Take classes, vocational or short courses. Spend more time with your family and friends. Learn a new skill like cooking, baking, dancing, ice skating and the likes, then make it one of your hobbies. Make new friends who will help you forget about the pain (with YAPpers!).

Anything that'll keep you busy will not only help you avoid thinking about the hurt but will also help you develop more confidence in yourself AND improve your life as well.

Nurse the loss and fall in love quick, or at least try to look around. Someone with a greater love for you, someone you could have been ignoring, may be just around. You probably thought it was never there.

Go out with your friends and have a good time. Maybe have a one night stand and begin to develop some self-esteem.
