sadly they think they are the guest of honor ..... They preen their feathers and freshen up their comb ......they even get a pedicure ....... poor dumb turkeys.

Christmas!! They will be high on endorphins from the sheer joy of expecting to be savagely ripped up and enjoyed by humans. They have no alternative....they might as well derive pleasure from it. Oh yes! They know what's coming. Ever heard of the 100th monkey? Our children know it too. They cant wait for their parents to garrotte the turkeys, pigs, cows, ..........

hmmm... well they get chased down and put on a stump to have their heads cut off where they then run around a moment before they die.........oh wait!!!!!!! that was Little House on the Prairie. Geez !! Of course they don't.. Ugh... that's kinda gross. I have to imagine though that they don't necessarily understand it fully. Their brains are like the size of a peanut and they know how to survive and pro-create. That's about it.
