No, I think it was 1990 and it was Norfolk, not Suffolk. However that's an easy mistake to make, because when I saw one in 1995, I thought it was in South Carolina when it was really North Carolina, admittedly only briefly as, minutes later, it scooshed across the stateline, leaving eveyone in it's wake wondering if it was true they had actually seen one. I was sure I had a photo of it, but when the film was developed, all the pictures were blank, even the ones taken before the "sighting". I have since heard that it has now undoubtedly grown to about ten times it's size since that day and we are all wondering just when it will make another appearance....and where! Maybe in South Korea......?
