I don't know why it was on the shelf...I'm just glad it showed on the register not to sell due to recall. I know people think there are tons of people to run to the shelves and take them off.....but it doesn't work that perfectly. Just glad management plugged it in to the computer. Wonder how many haven't.....or how many bought it already and don't know?

Thanks Kayboff.....what I had picked were jelly like eyeballs...called "gummies". It was just a half eyeball in a little individual package. So maybe it's with those gel recalls.

Just scarey.....lord knows I don't want to pass out something dangerous. I remember when parents were worried about razor blades and pins that people did on purpose....not stuff like this.

Thanks for sharing this very important info. I have already
sent an email to those I know who have grandkids who should
be aware of this information. Who would think that Cadburrys
would have something contaminated? They are one of the
oldest candy companies in England, I've read. So those of
us who've already bought their candy for tomorrow, please
lets check our bags for the brands provided here.

No, no,no! Now I will have to sample every other candy my granddaughter gets for halloween. Or at least every third candy. Shhhhhhhhh. Be quiet, I don't want my wife to hear any of this. I'm not suppose to eat candy. LOL

Wow. Thanks for telling us! I purchased the big bag with sweet tarts, Spree, and Bit-O-Honey pieces by Nestles. I try not to buy off brands too much. Alas, my candy was a product of Mexico, and a Swiss Company owns it.

This is the first I've heard of it also. Think I'm ok.....I didn't go for candy this year....bought the little packets of animal crackers and gold fish. (I know, I know...... the kids are going to groan when they see it!!)

Thanks for the heads up, though....I'll pass it along to family and neighbors once we find out what's involved in the recall.

Edit: Thanks Kay
