I believe you should report this incident to the school authorities. Also you should report this to the bus company.

Legally, this is assault and battery, if you can prove that it was done on purpose. You were smart not to fight back, though. Self defense would be acceptable, but would only involve something like knocking the window cleaner out of his hand, not punching him in the face. My advice? Report it to the school and keep a record of the report. If the violence escalates, you have a case against the school, because they were forewarned and didn't do anything to stop it.

I think you should talk to your parents !! and let them talk to the school this is not a thing that should be swept under the rug....There should be a law against bullying where your from if not they should start one.
Good thing you never fought back 2 wrongs don't make a right. Fight back by telling someone. Stay stong and I hope someone helps you.
there is way to much violence today in school so sorry you feel that guns are going to stop the violence...what a sad world this is coming to.

Was it a prank or someone being an idiot? I would report it to your parents and then they can call the school. You should of told the bus driver as soon as possible. Why did they have window cleaner on them anyway? What kind of school supply is that? Do not fight violence with violence unless its to save your life.

I presume you didn't tell the bus driver, something you should have done immediatedly. Now, you need to report this to your teacher and school principal, for this will surely escalate.
I would suppose you already informed at least one family member. Make sure this family member or someone else goes with you to the principal's office, first going by your teacher, though.
Do not think about being violent to this person. But do report it and ask the nurse to check your eyes and face for signs of some damage. The principal will advice you and will definetely talk to this young man and his family.

Just think about it this way - each time you are in a situation like this you hit a fork in the road. One way leads you to instant revenge/gratification, the other is uncertain, but safer and higher, more advanced. If you start young, consistently making the choices in life to take the higher road, you will look back one day and realize that you have left everything behind and have a better life than anyone that has caused you harm. In 10 years, that boy will be making a living with that window cleaner in YOUR corner office. Stay smart, legal and ahead of the game - life is long when its in front of you, but short in hindsight.

First of all it is too late to "beat the living s**t out of him. You are no longer in danger and therefore can not claim self defense.
Depending on where you are the crime is likely assault but it may be aggravated by the use of a caustic chemical. That would make the offense a felony. You should report it to the police as soon as possible. You should also report it to the school principle that you reported it to the police.

It's not assaut, it's battery. Assault would be if he threatened to spray you, battery is if he actually did. Are you both minors? If so, your parents could technically sue his parents. I would recommend getting in touch with a lawyer, most offer a free over the phone or even in office consultation. Also, take this advice with a grain of salt; I'm not a lawyer, but I do work in a law office and I've heard of crazier things...

Yes, anytime someone purposely harms you physically, that is assault.
Report it to police, the sooner the better. Make a big deal about it, right away, while there is still evidence, not days later.
How would you know it is window cleaner, and not something worse, like acid or poison?

Hey listen it takes alot bigger person to turn the other cheek.
And besides God says vengence is mine I will repay sayeth the Lord. So step back tell it to your maker and watch what the man upstairs can do for you. If you don't know the maker ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save you and come into your heart and help and protect you from evil and evil doers.
Remeber Jesus your Lord and saviour turned the other cheek for you when He came to save sinners such as you and I. He knows right where you are at experienced it for Himself that is why he is a good Lord and Saviour. He knows how to save you and help you. Trust Him. I have now for thirty years and He is very faithful and He will lead you out of trouble. It will be far from you.
