I have found a store called Elegance in Sherman Oaks, and Champion dance shoes in L.A.

If online search didn't lead you to a local store then it is possible that there isn't one in your area. Your next step is to find a ballroom dance studio near you. Often enough, they sell dance shoes, especially if there are no local stores. Call them and ask. If they don't sell ask them who does.
