Just do things on your own timeline, when YOU are ready. But, it's likely those folks were ready, so be happy for them. Just know that you should go down your own path. My best friend had her first baby at age 22 and I am 28 having my first. We're both very happy with our choices.

My friends are all about 30 or more and they say the same thing. I'm 29, I've been married for 5 1/2 years, we have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and I'm 15 weeks pregnant with #2 and most of my friends think I'm still very young. You're only 21, wait. It's worth the wait.

I think that people are ready at different ages. I had just turned 19 when I got married. and will be almost 21 when our son is born. I don't think that everyone is ready for that responsibility at that age, but we are. We are financially stable and it was a planned pregnancy. We couldn't be happier. When you are ready, then I hope that everything works out great for you. In the meantime, just be there to congratulate your friends!!

I am 27 and when I was starting my 20's it seemed this way to.

This is normal. My brother is 23 and is like, "Everyone is getting married...engaged!"

You are just entering a phase when you realize you are in adulthood and well....this happens....a lot of people you know...your friends are getting engaged, married...pregnant...

It just seems like a lot of people, because this is really the first time that a lot of people around you or that you know would be doing these things.

When your 18...you don't hear about it as much.

It's just a shocker in the beginning......

Totally normal....don't rush yourself...you wait....till your ready.

IF they are people around your age. They are young adults who feel they are ready to move on with their lives. I keep seeing pregnant people too. But I am pregnant so I guess I kinda look a little bit.

You want to wait but a lot of people want to get started earlier and earlier. I got married at 18 and am now expecting my first baby at 20.

Each person has to make the decision that they feel ready for - regardless of their age. Just because someone is older doesn't make them any more mature or equipped to handle these scenarios.

don't rush into either one.. you are still way to young..
live your life.. have fun, then get married (if your not already) THEN have kids.. kids are a blessing, but you need to spend time with your husband first for a few years before having kids..
