Well, once a kid is drafted with that name, and plays well enough for the Lightning, then it's a possibility.

But since you probably mean LecavAlier............if he continues to represent the franchise like he has, and spends another 6-7 years there, then I definitely think he gets his sweater raised to the rafters. He took a lot of flak early in his career but he has turned in a few decent years lately, wore the captaincy with pride....and oh yeah...led the team to a Stanley Cup.

It's all good my boy...................it's all good.

Once they get Bryzgalov, it will be so much better!

It wouldn't surprise me if they retired the numbers for the whole Richards, Lecavalier, St. Louis line once the three were gone...

I think it will be. He's a great player, he led them to the Cup, and he won the Rocket Richard trophy. I think he's qualified.

LITY: Is there any chance that Bryzgalov goes to the Avs. I know you say the Avs need to get rid of Theodore and get a Dman and faceoff man. But I say get rid of Theodore and get a good goalie. Is there at least a chance for Bryz to the Avs?

Ya it is a forsure if he stays with the team.

Do you guys think Steve Yzerman should get his number retired for the whole NHL?

did he retire already?

I thought they only retire numbers once a player hangs it up

Depends on the rest of his career. It's not nearly over yet.

if he stays with the team yeah. but because they have so much money tied up in st. Louis, Richards, and him they might loose him.

no, because he will not play his entire career there...nobody will be a on team guy anymore. salary caps took care of that idea

well if he does better ( which he will) he would have the number retired. And he would make it into the hall of fame.
