okay say you were crying hard about something, then you go to sleep.. why do your eyes look so puffy in the morning?

The moisture from your tears has soaked up into your eyes.
Kind of like how a sponge expands when water soaks it up.

Because you are tired and then ou cry the salt stays on you eyes so the puff out. That happens to me all the time. What you should do is when you are done crying, splash some cold water on your face. You will feel better in the morning. xx

I don't know why, but when I cry myself to sleep or cry and then need to look normal, I wet a washcloth or paper towels with cold water and then I just sit or lay down, and relax with it over my eyes and it helps a lot.

Part of it has to do with you rubbing your eyes when you cry. The rest of it is anatomical. When you cry you are releasing fluid from your eyes and bood flows to that area to "strengthen" it. It's just your bodies natural response. Best answer points?! Come on!!
