I love the name Jessica because that is the name my mother gave me. I would not change it for nothing.

Wow, I never thought of my name as "porno-starish"? haha
well, my name is Jessica, and I think it's ok, I mean it's mine and it has been for 23 years but I as well as mony other feel it is a very common name. My last name is even more common, so I have gona to school with about 5 other girls with the EXACT same name over the years... Sara is similar as far as how common it is. I like both the names though, just depends if you want something nice, or something a bit more original.
Good luck!

I like them both but I like Jessica better because it sounds really pretty and can be shortened to Jessie or Jess. Sara is really cute too though.

I love them both!
They're both timeless, and will suit your daughter when she is a baby, as well as when she is grown!
They aren't trendy, or very popular with the 2007 babies.. so she will probably be the only "sarah" or "jessica" in her class.. among the madelyn's, peyton's, and Ella's.
They both were more popular in the 90's and 80's.. but not so much now.
I personally like the name Sarah the best=)
It's just an adorable name for a baby girl!
Good luck=]
Cute names=)

I love Sara because it is so simple. Sometimes when parents decide to name their child some crazy name it seems as though they are trying to shape thier kids' destiny with a name, or ruin their lives! Sara and other sensible names give the child a chance to become who they want to be, and not what their name tells them to be. (stripper names, hippie names, presidential names, off the wall goofy names, etc.)

well my BFF, although she's annoying, is Jessica. My cousin, also anoying but not as much, is Sarah. I just think of Sara as more of pretty and beautiful when jessica I think of Loud, still pretty, but full of it.

NO! they have been the most common names for at least a decade. Don't curse your beautiful daughter with a McDonald's name. I made the mistake of naming my daughter a name that became so popular where I live- Sophia- but now she goes by Phia to be a little different.
