Is this your first? If so, that's amazing. Are you extremely skinny? I noticed a bump when I was about 4 months pregnant with my daughter but didn't show until 5 months. I'm 15 weeks pregnant this time and have noticed a bump since about 10 weeks.

It's still too early to be showing at 9 weeks unless you are really, really thin. My friend started to show at 14 weeks with her baby and she is a really thin girl. Most probably you just have bloating. I'm 14 weeks and have a little belly but not noticeable to the public just yet.

If this is a second or later pregnancy then it is no surprise. Most women who have already have children they show way earlier.

First pregnancies statistically show later.

I am a little different. I am on my first and at 8 weeks, I had this bulbous round 4-5 months belly. I thought I had twins!

I went to the doc and he said that it is a combination of water weight, but also, that some women have excess progesterone floating around and that it can make you show much earlier...just like me.

Don't be concerned.

It could be:

Just you...every woman is different
Water retention or water weight
A lot of progesterone in your body
Twins.

Love thy belly! :)

I started get a slight bump at 6 weeks and I'm not skinny (big girl, dont know how many pounds. Dont want to say in kilos as I'm currently over 100 and I think I was like that before I got pregnant).

The people closest to me like my husband and mother noticed the bump before I did.
