I am assuming you don't mean cretinism which is a medical condition!! I don't think anyone is a cretin in the since you are using this word. Maybe you march to another tune than some of your inmates.

I've always been accused of that and I wear that label as an honor. I have always manage to be different. I enjoy who I am and I work everyday to make myself a better, more knowledgeable person. But I certainly don't try to fit myself into a mold that my peers struggle to wear.

If everyone in the group goes Right I go Left. Someone actually won a bet one time because they bet someone that if the group (we were in) did a project left that I would do project right and they were correct. Ha!

Now having said that I don't just make a project out of being different I try to do what is comfortable in my skin. I read constantly to improve my mind, I try to pay attention to politics and to local trends, and strive to be a good friends to all people that I come in contact with.

You work on you. Find someone you admire, and not a celebrity for goodness sake. And see what they do that make them stand out in your mind and is that some feature you could adapt?? We are not born in a vacuum so we learn from those around us.

But try to pick good traites to copy. ok!
