33 weeks is a little early to be preparing to go to the hospital but i guess getting ready cant really hurt.
but you need for your hospital bag....
*Personal identification and health insurance card.
*List of phone numbers for people you want to contact after the delivery.
*Lip balm or Chap Stick (your lips get dry when pushing!).
*Watch with a second hand to time contractions.
*Tooth brush and toothpaste.
*Something to read in case you will be in for a long delivery.
*Pillow from home with a pillowcase other than white to distinguish your pillow from the hospitals.
*Music or CD's. something thats soothing and calms you down
*Camera and/or camcorder with film and batteries.
*A going home outfit for mom (You will probably need to select something that fit you when you were about five months pregnant… you will not return to your pre-pregnancy size 'instantly' after giving birth).
*A going home outfit for baby.
*Car Seat for baby
*Slippers/socks to keep your feet warm.
*Baby book for getting footprints.
*Snacks.
*Nursing bras and nursing pads.(if you plan to nurse)
*Blanket for baby.
*Robe or night gown in case you don't want to wear the hospitals.
*Any personal hygiene items you might want (shampoo, brush etc.).
You should def. call your doctor or even go to the hospital to get checked out if you are having pains. you're only 33 weeks and its a little early to have those, i would def. call your doctor and get checked out.. I didnt start getting those pains until i was 37wks. I dont think they can be avoided, that is something you have to discuss with your doctor
best of luck!

Those contractions are called braxton hicks. There's not much you can do to avoid them. Stay very hydrated and try to take some walks. Even a warm bath will help ease the pain. I would prepare a hospital bag now. Put some comfy clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste all the essential toiletres, maybe a robe. Pack an outfit to bring the baby home in. Always have a camera on hand. Don't forget the car seat:) Good Luck!!

You can put your bag together now but you don't need a lot. Just an outfit each for you and your baby to go home in. One blanket to bring your baby home in and that's about it. (Maybe some shampoo you like and a little make-up so you can shower and freshen up before your visitors come.) The hospital will provide you with blankets, diapers, wipes, pacifier, shirts, for your baby, and will give you a gown, and basically anything else you need. Also, you can always have your husband go pick up something you decide you want or your friends and relatives who are coming can bring you anything. Those contractions are a good sign and can't be avoided. Enjoy!

the first time i packed everything on the list my dr gave me, which was way too much stuff. here a list i found online.
Your insurance card and any hospital paperwork you need.
Your eyeglasses, if you need any. Even if you usually wear contacts, you'll probably need or want to take them out at some point during your stay.
A hair band and barrettes, if you think you might want them.
Lip moisturizer.
A bathrobe, nightgown, slippers, and a couple of pairs of socks
A few basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant.
A change of clothes
Some snacks and something to read during the early stages.
A camera/video camera and film or tape or a memory card and batteries. Someone has to document the big event!
A fresh nightgown
A nursing bra, breast pads, and maternity underwear, if you'd prefer not to wear the net panties they'll give you at the hospital. Chances are, whatever underwear you do wear the first few days will get stained, even with sanitary pads (which the hospital provides).
Your address book and prepaid phone card or cell phone. After the baby's born you'll want to call family and friends to let them know the good news.
A going-home outfit. Bring something roomy and easy to get into
An infant car seat. You can't drive your baby home without one!
A going-home outfit (one-piece stretchy outfits are easiest)
A receiving blanket (a heavy one if the weather's cold)
A pair of socks or booties

You don't want to avoid those contractions, they are helping your body prepare for the big day. Now is a good time to pack your hospital bag. You should pack comfortable clothes (PJs, sweats, comfy socks, underwear you don't mind throwing away, a supportive bra, etc), an outift to take the baby home in, soaps and shampoos that you like, something to keep you entertained during the long hours of labor (music, cards, book etc), a snack for your coach, clothes you can wear home from the hospital (i would stick with maternity clothes).

Honestly you can make your hospital bag anytime you are ready. Or atleast make a list. I would pack things like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comfortable clothing to wear home, socks, underwear if you want to be able to wear real ones. Books or puzzle books. The baby's book. Outfits for the baby, take home outfit. Pacifier you want to use if you have a preference.

you have gotten dropped, yet that would not recommend hard artwork is close to according to say. you are able to drop 4-6 weeks until eventually now you relatively have the toddler. I dropped 2 weeks in the past, am 38.5 weeks pregnant, and am nevertheless basically 1cm dilated. yet, that's an exciting element meaning your physique is making waiting for the toddler to reach interior the subsequent month or 2! :)

There is no way to avoid braxton hicks, they are painless just annoying. It is your uterus practising for the real thing. I am 32 weeks pregnant and i am beginning to prepare my bag.
You need all the things for the new arrival, such as babygro, nappies, vests, wash stuff, wipes etc. Also, things for yourself, a nightshirt for labour and big comfy pj's for after, plenty of maternity pads and breast pads, wash things for yourself and also some clothes to come home in.
If you still aren't sure speak to your midwife!! And good luck.....
