You can if it's not any kind of plastic, otherwise it will begin to yellow. Same with toilet cisterns etc. Also bleach isn't too good for you. I wouldn't like to use it in my bath.

Instead of bleach, try filling the bath with water and put some washing powder in, leave for a couple of hours, rinse thoroughly, hey presto one clean bath without the smell of bleach.

No, but if you use a soap first, and then bleach it, it will be clean. Bleach does not remove grease, grime etc...but once those are washed away, bleach will help whiten your bath tub. Cleansers with bleach also have soap in them... that is why they work so well. Do NOT under any circumstances put bleach in ammonia so check your cleansers..... those two mixed together give you a toxic (Poisonous) cloud of chlorine gas.

I clean everything with bleach! I dilute it depending on how much contact I will have with it, or if I intend to put food on it. I am still alive needless to say...so there shouldn't be any problem...rinse the bath well and don't leave it on for very long, just hot water and a wipe...bleach and brillo pads...my two favourie cleaning agents!

Yes, but there's a drawback: It will tarnish your plughole and if your bath is very old could also corrode it.
Your best bet is making a paste of bio washing powder and water. Apply to bath surface and leave for 24h, then rinse.

Your looking for the quick fix solution, arent you?
Bleach----- bleaches !!!
So----go to your local pound shop, buy a product called Astonish, which is a cleaning paste, and use some elbow grease. Problem solved
