Wow the love of a child is suck a beautiful thing, the name s however is very inportant. Oprah did a show awhile back and she showed that society still pick people by there names. Just pick a name you like nutting ghetto nuttin too latin just a nice calm name that will have your child in his or her life.

I'm Danish and my hubby is a europen mix(he's a mutt lol) So all 4 of our kids have a Danish name either 1st or second:
Soren Arther
Kaile Aksel
Annika Lily
Odin Gordon
It works, our kids each get to carry a bit of their home countries with them.

Race shouldn't matter when you choose a name. Just find a name that you both love and agree on! There are many baby books out there for just this purpose; I recommend 25,001 Baby Names.

share the naming--both of you give the baby cultural names from your own heritage--either first or middle--as long as you agree and love the child; the name does not matter that much.

Maybe a first name can be of one mom's race and the middle name of the dad's race.

You pick one part of the child's name (first or middle) and then the child's father picks the other part of the name that you did not pick (first or middle).
This is the way me and my fiance are going to do when we conceive. I am going to pick the middle and he is picking the first.
