Always. Time is the most valuable thing in life. I know when I reach the end of my life I will wish I had done more to help others. I will wish I had more time with my family. Thinking this way helps me to maximize my time in those areas now. I can't really see how much else in life truly matters.

My clock is digital. No tick. Now you might mean something more deep. Right? Like how time is slipping away from us? Right?

I spend my time doing things as making memories. I feel that in the end of times,(each our own) that is all we will have. So as the time ticks away and it does for us all, I spend it finding hope in the moment.

But then again each of us has our own time piece and when the time is up make sure we have done things that matter to others.

There is a science to the clock. E.g., 12 o'clock is the beginning of the cycle, is Fatherly; 6 o'clock is the beginning of the fulfillment of the cycle, is Motherly. The Son is on the 3 o'clock line, the Holy Spirit is on the 9 o'clock line. The seasons move as Capricorn at 12, Aries at 3, Cancer at 6, and Libra at 9.

Not likely what your question was seeking, but there 'tis.

"Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, has somewhat on this.

"Time" is Mother (in general), and "Space" is Holy Spirit or Buddha (in general).

"Light Is a Living Spirit," O. M. Aivanhov, "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, and "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, are also good.

cordially,

j.

There are two ways to answer your question:

1) Physicialy the clock is ticking and therefore a due date for something is arriving such as a project. Or, you hear the tick of the arm's clock and is bothering you.

2) Morally the clock is ticking and we know for example that each day more pollution is created. Therefore the time to change issues such as global warming is running out.

Hoped this helped,

In Physics, a second is determined by the duration of 9 192 631 770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the cesium 133 atom.

But I believe the basis of your question was philosophical. If that is the case, time is very confusing for us.

First of all, time is part of the space-time continuum. The two are inseperable, and make up the four dimensions of the known universe. There may be more that we are incapable of knowing based on our sense abilities.

Second, we are travelers in time, so we must take a relative view of it. Knowing time absolutely is not possible, without being outside of its realm.

That being said, speaking in relative terms everyone experiences time differently, on a quantum level.

People talk of not aging as fast if you travel at or near the speed of light, but that is only relative to someone traveling at a far slower rate. The aging process is still the same for the individual traveling near light speed.

Given our capabilities of perception much of this goes unnoticed, but is present just the same.

Time, to be sure, is a phenomenon that will continue to confound us, until we are able to step outside of its realm, which will likely be never.

I compare a clock to my kitty.

The kitty may have fleas and ticks...the clock, just ticks.

Thinking about time, in just one tick of the clock (one second), my computer has cycled 2.4 billion times, a beam of light has traveled about 186,000 miles, one second could be the difference between life and death

Yes, I have thought about a clock ticking.

Time is one of the most amazing things. And im not talking about minutes. Time altogether in itself, if you think deep enough you will come to realize you cannot explain time.

yeh i think :

why the hell is the hour 60 minuits , why not 70 ?

why there is 24 hours in the day ! why 24 ! what if they made the hour more that 60 minuts and made the day like 22 hours ?!!?!

and when the hell did they begin counting time and dates and stuff !

i organize my watch , rather than let it organize me ! it helps some how ....!
