I haven't become a slave of MY own life, but rather society's or the government's or other people's lives and regulations about how to live. I would easily go back to how some Native Americans did it. Forget the money. Trade items to get what you want or need! I would LOVE to do create art and poetry, but who knows if it will sell. Maybe I need to get a "rational" career that I can support myself in and pay for the expensive house, clothes, gas, and taxes....

Yes, we have indeed . In the world we live in run by money it is more important to most people to work and have a good preofession. Although it is very important to take a break every now and then, most people are run by the greed to make money. It is quite sad how we care more about working for money than we do appreciating oursleves and our family and friends. One thing we have forgot as a civilization is balance. It is crucial to know how much work is good and how much relaxation is also beneficial.

Hoped this helped you :)

Some people who don't enjoy their work do. The obvious solution is to find an occupation that will provide you with a living that you completely enjoy. If you think your providing occupation is slavery then quit and seek other employment which satisfies both your pleasure interests and your livelihood. It is not impossible.

I'm a military fiction author and love my job. It's fun to be so creative with work. I enjoy it and put in way more time than I need to.

only for people who decide not to get a good job, or good education, because its those people who won't make much money, and must work more to make a living, giving them less time to enjoy themselves. people with good education get good jobs, get good pay, and less working hours, letting them enjoy life more.
