my husband and myself are attending a beach wedding (its going to be cool though) and i was wondering what would be proper attire? are there any colors that are off limits, such as black, red, etc? please help, dont want to underdress but dont want to overdress either!

Colours to avoid: all black,all white and the colour of the bridesmaid's dress. Basically avoid attracting too much attention to yourself.
Slacks would be fine I'd suggest a nice pair of wide leg trousers, a crisp clean blouse and a cardigan. Also add a nice necklace.

Go to a nice shop and ask the sales clerk for some advice. It is their job to recomend things. Make sure you take jackets with you, it is better to have something to throw on, rather than freeze to death.

the altenative for black would be navy and i would avoid red altogether. flowing pants and a dressy top would work and keep you from freezing.
