Ok... For a while, I wasn't able to get hard around my girlfriend. Last night - I was ready to go (although, she was too tired). I thought I needed Viagra, therapy, surgery. I thought my diet might've been off. Maybe my blood pressure was high. I started running again. I figured maybe it's anxiety...but I was still a mess.
Anyway...I went from masturbating 3X a day...to maybe once every 3 days. I feel amazing. My hard-on's are very intense and when I climax, everything shoots out like 5 feet. I'm much more easily aroused. I know there's not suppose to be a connection...but damn. How could this be happening?

Let me get this straight, you cut down on your masturbation: from three times a day to once every three days. You have achieved a positive result. Perhaps there is a connection and damn, it feels good, right? Celebrate!!! Now, as to what could be happening it might be that when a person denies themselves their desires become stronger. I'm sure there is an analogy in nature but I can't think of it right now. Maybe the less you have the more you want and how; and the more you have the staler it is. Maybe you're like that champagne on ice, just before opening it gets all shook up and then whoosh. Not at all scientific, but that's the best I can do.

I am 23 years old and started masturbating at like 10 or 11 years old, maybe once or twice a day. I got my first girl friend at 19 years old (I know... I was old, lol) and that was when I lost my virginity. She was super sexy, and there no matter how good masturbation felt, sex was better. Now, her and I broke up not too long ago (and she moved away, so no FWB [friends with benefits]), and I was seeing some other chick for a few months, and now I've been without a girl friend for a few months!! From that, I tell you I was masturbating 2 or 3 times as much when I had a girl friend from when I didn't have a girl friend (now). In other words, the more often you see sexy girls in real life, the more often you're going to want to masturbate or have sex. I haven't dated and never will date a fat or ugly chick, so I can't say how that'll affect One's performance.

OMG 3 x a day!! A little excessive! I didnt realise a visit to the mens section would be so enlightening!! Im sorry i was curious about mens masturbation, but I think you have already answered your question as before you were doing it too much and was wondering why you could not perform for your girlfriend, but then realised that its amazing if you cut down on the masturbating. Just keep doing what your doing!!!

I would suspect it has something to do with overuse. I don't think ED is related to masturbation at all, but I know (from a woman's perspective) that it becomes harder to achieve orgasm the more often you do it. Wait a couple days, and the pleasure is more intense and orgasm is more attainable. I would assume it's related in that sense, not that your masturbation schedule has somehow caused you to become unarousable, just that it's more difficult because it happens often.

its to do with the masturbation. if possible, sop masturbating altogether. it'll make the pleasure even more intense for you both. trust me!
