None. You have to be 2 or 3 years removed from high school to be eligible for the draft.

The only NFL player I can think of who did not go to college was Darren Bennett, the San Diego punter a few years ago. But, he came out of the Australian Football League, not straight from high school.

One problem with letting a football player come into the NFL from high school is physical development (or lack thereof) at the age when you graduate high school. It takes years of conditioning and physical development to be able to get out onto an NFL field without literally being killed.

Another problem is the mental development. The NFL game is so much faster than even the college game. Players don't have time to think. They have to get to a level where they just react. And, they learn these mental skills playing college football. Some don't even get there until after a coupla-few years in the arena leagues, the Canadian Football League, or NFL Europe.

But, I simply could not imagine anyone developing what it takes to play in the NFL right out of high school.

A player must be 3 years removed from high school to be eligible for the NFL draft. Former Ohio State star Maurice Clarett sued the NFL to change the rule. The courts sided with the NFL.

It is against NFL rules. I believe they have to be at least 3 years out of HS before they are allowed to sign on with a NFL team

I believe that is not allowed, only in basketball. In addition, it will be very unsensible if NFL teams did that. The player would not have the strength to match against other NFL players
