I dont think anyone has given you a bad answer on this question. I would like to add depending on what you are doing you may want to pick and choose a little more carefully. If you are building something that has to support weight, get the smaller craft pack of sticks. These tend to be food grade and are less likely bend or easily break.
Bulk boxes of 1000 are the common way craft sticks are sold. These are not food grade and are fine for siding or non weighbearing applications. If you want a stronger popsicle stick buy them in the smaller packages.
Good luck and hope this helps

Places like Michaels, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby and even Joanne's and WalMart, carry the popsickle stick. The usually come in bags of +25 depending on the size; they have the narrow ones (like from a fudgesickle or banana split) and also the larger ones that look like tongue depressors. They're not that expensive for the amount of sticks you get - maybe even as low in price as $1.99.

I am not sure where you are.
So, I don't know the stores near you. But, any local hobby store should carry them in bulk.
