It seems to me that I've got nothing to lose, she is paying for her own flight and I've not made any promises.
She might be wanting to live in Europe and see me as her ticket to do that, but could it work out anyway?

Why dont you take a chance. Dont give her any money and dont make any silly promises to sponsor her while she's visiting the uk and you'll soon find out if she's genuine or not.
Besides, Life is an adventure, so be adventurous. You'll only regret it if you dont take a chance.

Magic Bus Driver, you have never even met this woman. Why would you even consider marrying her. God man you must know as well as I do of the dangers of these machines and that people can portray themselves as far different than they actually are. Sure you may get some sexual gratification for a night or two but she may turn out to be your worst nightmare if you just drop her after that. Hope that you are capable of using the right head when making this possible live changing decision.

It seems like you have met her on the net or through mutual friends contacts
I wouldnt marry someone who i dont know or havent met and neither should you.
I mean look at it from a fresh point of view she is coming here to have a permanent residency here your green card marry you and make herself a lot of money maybe which she wouldnt have earned there or here in 1 year
plus you are so down here in the situation because if she decides to divorce you you would have to pay the costs and we all know that divorces costs are going higher every minute
dont do it , 99.9% it wont work and you know she is using you for residency in europe so why fall for it

Good that you at least have your eyes partially open that she's sees you as her ticket into Europe, but I have to say that statistically it's unlikely to work. Do you really want to marry someone you've never met? She might not be a very nice person or... anything! I'd think seriously about this one before making any rash decisions.

First of all you no nothing about this woman but she is planning to come here and you have nothing to lose thats what you think. you havent made any promises so what have you said toher that she is comming here. you hit the nail on the head you are her ticket to get here.

NO WAY? They have arranged marriages there so this is common for her, but not to you. She most likely wants out of the country.
Marriage is a sacred circle, a lifelong commitment, not a gamble! Don't do it. You are not desperate. There are nice ladies everywhere you can get to know a bit before marriage.

If shes paying for her own flight, it sounds like a good basis for a sound marriage to me. You will know if she is genuine if she promises to pay for the rest of them to come over. We will do the rest when they are here....provide them with benefits, a house each and all the healthcare they need. Go for it.

I had a friend (USA) who met an Indian girl online. They eventually decided to get married without seeing each other in person. He actually went to India to marry her and then brought her back here. I haven't spoken to him in years (he was busy with his new wife and we stopped hanging out), but I know he was happily married for a couple of years at least.
I thought for sure it was a bad idea, but he proved me and everyone else wrong.

look dude i am an american, n from time to time, we all get these type of messages from that part of the world, to tell u the truth, u would be crazy to do so in the first place, second it would be a doom relationship from the starte, plz do think about it, okay, cos in the end u would be lossing....
