A bit late isn't it, should have done this 10 years ago. Oh we have we had several elections where the Numpties have returned more of the same spin every time for 10 years so why the complaint. We now have a government with less authority to govern from the people that ever the previous Tory government had. The reason that Brown will not go to the country is because he will lose and on top of that he will no doubt lose any payments from Brussels for signing away our freedoms.

I understand from your question,
that you include all politicians.
In power or not.
I do agree with your stance on this.
As politics today are the faints,
of what the original brew was meant to be.
I am aware that politicians are the bottom of the pile of liars.
But the last 10 years they have excelled them selves.
Not that the previous 10 years were any better.
I offer this proposal.
Do the population of a country,
get the representation they deserve.
Less than 40% of the poulation of this country vote now.
Will you accept a minority vote.
We all have for years.
So we now have a lot of self servers
and shills.

Absolutely, and the introduction of real democracy - where everyone votes on everything. In a day and age where people can vote to see which socially retarded 'housemate' they want to see voted off a TV program, it is indefensible that we're not allowed a vote on the issues that really matter. Forget representation, politicians have proven time and time again that they cannot be trusted with such high levels of power.

the people dont have the power to demand a no confidence vote. only the queen can do that.and even if the people could!! it would be too much effort for them to get up off of their lazy @rses and demonstrate they're wishes.(as you saw with the EU demo.) i realy dont think the people give a damm about our future our culture or! our country.

I fear it is too late now, let alone in two years time when donkey Brown calls an election.. I am sure he will hang on to the bitter end ......
I will not give Labour any breathing space ... they have had ten years of breathing and that's enough for me...

No, bill. Politicians do not always lie. They only lie when their lips move.
