You capitalize the "H" in heaven. That leads me to believe that this must be more than just what is above us and outisde this physical world.

So this question takes on a deeper meaning, perhaps spiritual or even divine. But to answer this question I'll keep this down to earth for a moment.

How can we look at anything through any other person's eyes? Maybe with a camera? Give a person a camera and let them walk around. We might get a glimpse, but not the whole picture. Technology can't get it quite right yet. But still, we don't get the thoughts, the inner pictures. These are the images that matter most. The fact remains; we are individuals. We can see only through one set of eyes. We are by definition, alone in our perception of the universe. What we see, taste, feel, touch, hear and think. These things we might express to others, but never can fully share. I can tell you how I see your life, but you can never truly look at your own life through my eyes. I am limited by my ability to express myself through words. And words fail us sometimes. We have other ways to communicate. But for the purposes of this argument, words will do. Chemical signals, body language and the like are too difficult to explain, and my ignorance of the subjects do not allow me to further explore the ideas. Even so, I doubt they are enough to allow me to show you enough that you "look at your life" through my eyes.

Why then should it be different through Heaven's eyes? God, of course, can do anything. If He so chose, He would make us see anything He wanted us to see. But this is not our decision. We can't make this happen. Once again we are limited by our individuality. But as creations of a loving creator, this is a necessity. Freedom of choice is paramount, and thus we are apart from others. If what some people say is true, we will know more when we get to heaven. Perhaps then we can see through Heaven's eyes. But not before then, at least not by our own doing.

Looking at life through Heaven's eyes is a metaphor for understanding the love of God for each one of us. We should mold our lives in the image of Jesus as He lived, loving unconditionally.

"I and my Father are One" is one Way.

Glimpses of Heaven (there is more than one level of Heaven) are also more perceived in visions and dreams. To access visions is per purifying and God's grace. To access dreams, to purify dream coherency, to receive Angelic telepathic prompts (clues/hints for you to "wake up," such as one familiar item placed upside down, a single impossibility in an otherwise normal setting, etc.), try a pre-sleep prayer to God to "make you a better person." Keep a dream diary, awaken naturally if possible, observe your alpha and beta rhythm change, intuitively under-stand the feeling of your dream, etc.

Some excellent writers on how to: "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton; "The Masters and Their Retreats," Mark Prophet (for those who travel out-of-body), "The Master of Lucid Dreams," Olga Kharitidi, M.D., "Otherwhere," Kurt Leland, "The Great Divorce," C. S. Lewis, "Man's Psychic LIfe: Elements and Structures," O. M. Aivanhov. Also relevant: "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free and Wilcock, "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, "Extraordinary Knowing," Elizabeth Mayer, Ph.D., "Babies Remember Birth," David Chamberlain, Ph.D., "Life before Life," Jim Tucker, M.D., and "Psychoenergetic Science," William Tiller, Ph.D. http://www.tiller.org http://www.divinecosmos.com and http://www.coasttocoastam.com also good.

cordially,

p.s. Knowing that your Genesis 1 Self is a child of God, made in God's image and likeness, is also helpful. Your inner childlike nature is soulful, is what attains the Kingdom within and the Kingdom of Heaven.

One sexy mofo. Actually, I see a decent person doing the best they can in life, trying not to hurt others and do some good where they can.

AS HUMANS WE ARE UNABLE TO SEE OURSELVES AS THE ALMIGHTY SEES US. WE ARE JUST NOT SMART ENOUGH.
