I think I hear a little bit of late Eric Clapton in their acoustic songs...... but the sound is very unique, who do you think they sound like?

Well first off, from what I understand and heard they were all freinds before hand, so basically its a band put together to basically jam and have fun, hense therefore catchy riffing and curves with some good sing along vocals, I doubt Greol was trying to recapture the Nirvana feel, tis more a feel good type of band. Also he is playing drums for Queens of Stoned Age so there you will get an almost identical sound from them as well. Also check out Bruce Springstein and just imagine his sound a little more modern as Foo Fighters you will almost tell the simularity. Then there's Jimmy Eat World, All time Low, May Day Parade, The Starting Line, Yellowcard and Sum 41 to name a few.
