Okay, my ex called me and woke me up out of my sleep this morning to tell me about a dream he had. Now the dream sounded really made up to me and my intuition is usually right so I believe he just made it up, but anyway. It was some dumb dream that involved me, him, and this guy that he knows I really really like. Well he told me the dumb made up dream and then went on to talk about how he thinks the boy I like is ugly...take note, I'm still half asleep here. Well I was tired of hearing my ex talk about the boy I like so I changed subjects and when i did this he got disturbed, like he wasn't done talking or something......Anyway, after he was done talking about my "boo", he said this "The dream I had about my OTHER girl was worse." WTF?? Who cares......my question is.......
Why in the hell did he call me insulting the dude i like and indirectly throwing another female in my face?
GOD, men are so freakin weird, I was just trying to get some sleep. Why did he do that?

He's trying to play games and you're letting him by answering the phone. You should tell this guy to keep it straight and narrow or you don't have to talk to him. I bet he wasn't a walk in the park when you two were together. He was only jealous and that's why he told you the guy you like is ugly. He was trying to make you jealous about the other girl. It's all babble. He probably did make up the dream, but him feeling like he had to tell you is more a problem than whether he had the dream or not. You might need to concentrate on gaining the love of the guy you like instead of maintaining a friendship with your silly ex boyfriend. Good luck.

Make a rule to NEVER answer the phone when it's your ex and you are 1. sleeping 2. working 3. cleaning 4. breathing.
If it's an emergency, he'd leave a message or he wouldn't be calling you. He'd probably call his momma or some chick who is just dying to be his momma.
Other excuses when you forget and answer the phone:
1. Click! Oh no! The call was dropped!
2. I gotta go
3. Hey...dude...I'm hanging up now. I forgot I didn't care.
4. "Hello?" "Hello?" Bad connection, must be my phone.

well, possible reasons are....
1. He's still wants to be your boyfriend and if he can't continue the relationship in a positive way then he's gonna hang onto you in a negative way
2. He wants to be your boyfriend still so he's gonna make the guy you like look less good to you (in his mind he thinks this'll work) ...little green eyed monster kicking in. Did he say at anytime that 'you'll never find another as good as me'....now it looks like you may have so......
3. When tearing down the guy with possibilities didn't work/didn't result in the response he wanted from you then he tried to make you jealous by mentioning this Other Girl-who very well may not even exist. Even if she does, feel sorry for her because he only sees her as a means to make you jealous...
4. And if you were the one to break it off he's probably smarting over that...a blow to his ego, you know, girl's don't leave me, I leave them sorta thing......
I would suggest you don't accept phone calls from him anymore..screen your calls or block him calling you....you'll be better off avoiding this hassle/drama. Good Luck

It's obvious he doesn't want to let you go, and he feels intimidated by this new guy. A lot of men see relationships that go wrong as a failure, and do what they can (in their weird way) to fix it. If you want him to leave you alone though, tell him otherwise he'll think he still has a shot. Don't lead him on, cut him off. And saying you still want to be friends is a way to lead him on, lol.

It sounds like he got his little ego hurt when you seemed unconcerned.He obviously still has feelings for you.And Id put $$ on the fact he dosent have another girl he was just trying to make you jealous!Guys are VERY weird.......

Heaven Only Knows, Please hon, do not generalize all men in the same catagory as your ex ! I don"t know the guy and I thank God for that. Sounds like he needs mental help. For those of us good men I apologize !
