easy you only need to disconect the bateryif you are gong tio turn on the key at any point
so disconect it just in case
there not as scary as they sound
first make sure the wheels are streight dont torn them once the stering wheel is removed
undo the 2 3 or 4 screws that hold it on pull it back carfully and unplug all the wires the yellow ones are the ones that make the bag go boom
now remove the center bolt mark the position of the wheel to the bolt use a stering wheel puller and pull wheel (note make sure he wheel is streight and dont turn it) now you can remove the clock position sender (dont turn it )
fix what your fixen and put it back in revirse
if uou turn the wheel you may need to reprogram the clock sender on some card to re learn center

Hello be very very carefull.
First disconnect the battery completely for a minimum of 15 mins before you touch the steering wheel.
On the back of the steering there will be a couple of bolts holding the airbag in the steering wheel undo these then very carefully remove the airbag, becarefull there is a clock ribbon behind it which works with the indicator stork these brake nearly all the time when you try to remove them.
When the airbag is out you see the big nut holding the steering wheel on,you may have to remove some smaller bolts to remove a plastic collor first to remove the steering wheel.

Hi
Disconnect the battery negative lead and then have a coffee for ten minutes.
Remove the steering column shrouds, top and bottom.
Unscrew the airbag securing screws from BEHIND the steering wheel. They are screwed into the airbag from behind.
Very carefully withdraw the airbag unit from the front of the steering wheel, disconnect the wiring plug, and then store the airbag unit somewhere safe, remembering to carry it with the airbag facing AWAY from you.
Unbolt the center bolt and remove the steering wheel, remembering to disconnect the horn wiring.
Job done.
Very best regards
Geordie

I wouldn't mess with it seeing it has an air bag that could go off in your face if you don't know what your doing, if you are going to try it you must disarm the airbag first.

Leave it to someone who knows what they're doing it has an explosive charge in the airbag unit
If you're feeling really brave look here
