No! A mammal is a class of animals that have backbones, are warm-blooded, breath air, have internal fertilsation and whose females have milk-secreting glands for their young. (A whale is a mammal though!). Fish, on the other hand, are cold-blooded vertebrates, are scaly, live in water, breathe through gills, and move by swimming with fins. In addiiton, most of them lay their eggs in the water.
