i cant pick just one band to by my favorite and one band to hate above all others. especially when there's "copycat" bands like backstreet boys, nsync, 98 degrees, etc. if i were to hate them more than anything, it would be all three for the same reasons, not just any one.
the best bands on earth i think are the following five.
1.pink floyd (i mean come on, dark side of the moon has been on the charts for 20-something years now...they are that awesome)
2.pantera (lets face it, metal hasn't been the same since)
3.lynyrd skynyrd (hey, this bird you cannot change)
4.guns'n'roses (songs about love, written on drugs...produced for your listening pleasure)
and of course
5.the beatles (following every single international trend, including the one that prohibits following trends and making it all work. hell john even got assassinated like all those famous people were in the 60s (jfk, mlk, , etc)
worst bands of all time
1. this is more of a grouping, but the forementioned boy bands. they danced and sang songs they neither coreographed or wrote. i will give the musicians and writers and coreographers credit, they came up with some good ****. too bad they were all too garish to perform it themselves.
2.again another grouping. the post-grunge era. 95 new songs this year, 33 are about being "cold", 33 songs about the type of **** we listen to rock stations to avoid hearing (and by that i mean rediculous songs about women who don't love them), and of course, 32 songs making obscure drug references in conjunction with songs about women who don't love them. it's the late 90s all over again, except take the boy bands, fit them in gothic cloths and give them out of tune instruments and bingo, post grunge.
3. new radicals...who's unaborted idea was that? known for their one hit wonder song "you get what you give". its a proverbial finger down my throat.
4. hanson. theres just something about pre-puberty and music that erks me. maybe its something like they shouldn't be producing it.
5. i had this as something else earlier and now i'm editting it. although i had "siblings who stole the glory from their older counterpart" here (people like ashley simpson) i have found myself hating the song "footloose" way more than them. that song is so awful that people i know will grow violent upon listening to it. i don't, but i do avoid the song at all costs. i realize a movie was made for it (or it was made for the movie) and i haven't seen it but given the quality of the song, i would imagine the movie is just as unbearable. i want a written apology for that act of music vandalism.
there you have it, the 5 bands i hate the most and the 5 i love the most. toodles :)

coldplay, keane, thirteen senses and jet....i couldn't pick just one..i have a thing for bands with a piano
my least fav would have to be MCR...yuck!
