They wouldn't be that stupid. Besides, they would be bombing another country in the process...duh! LOL

The Russians probably won't bomb them. However by placing missiles in Eastern Europe, Bush will be breaking treaties that go back to the 70s. It would start a whole new arms race. It would cost billions and not provide any protection. In fact it would destabilize the world and increase our risks. It would make us look worse in the eyes of the world than we already do. When Russians put missiles in Cuba, Kennedy didn't bomb Russia. What he did do caused Russia to back down and embarrassed them.

If you bomb missiles they blow up and if they are near you that doesn't sound like a good plan. Are you talking about the missile defence system which is really a laser attack system? The Russians will do all they can to stop that as should everyone because it will means that the US can zap anyone anywhere in the World relatively easily - it would be like living in the inside of a bubble that is bristling with guns all pointed at you - do what the US elite says or fry.

I don't think so but it will be yet another provocation that's been going on sicne the end of the cold war. Russia wanted to join NATO at one point but was rejected, then NATO expanded right to the Russian border which prompted Pat Buchanan to say the following"If we don't stop behaving like the British Empire, we will end up like the British Empire.

~Pat Buchanan

The interference in internal Russian affairs where it comes to freedom of the press, the patronizing talk about human rights and negotiating on the Tsesjenbe issue while that are Russia's Muslimfascists. Remember what those thugs did in that school, that theater and countless bombings how Osama always includes them in his speeches so unlike Iraq they actually do have ties with alquaida and what does America do? Tell Russia to negotiate and watch out for human rights violations. The country of Guantanamo bay. This would be funny if it wasn't this absurd shocking and plain sick.

Russia wanted to be an ally after the cold war, America rejected them and now seem to wanna do everything to get on their nerves. I think that's a mistake but I have faith Putin with his KGB background is smart enough to know not to bomb American property

No. But, Putin will probably use the provocation as a pretext to expand his personal power, and move Russia back a bit in the direction of Soviet-style rule. This would allow both sides to re-start the Cold War, just in case the 'War on Terror' runs out of steam...

Well, they are anti-missile missiles, so, if Russia tries to launch a missile at them couldn't we just shoot it down?

They should just buy them from the poor host countries, as well as selling a missile defense system to Cuba to intercept Iranian ICBMs. lolololol
