I keep a tight lid on my temper, because I have to. It's just nasty, and I'm too old to really deal with the consequences it brings anymore.
As for the rest...I'm way more open and talkative about things online than I am out in the real world. It came up briefly in the Question here from last night, asking if P&S was like High School....
Simply put, people can't give me a wedgie, or otherwise attack me, through the modem. In real life, the stakes are higher and most of the time, people are less safe to be around.
So....in real life, especially if I am by myself, I stay quiet. I'm normally shy and reserved in the real world anyway, but lately, I've just been doing my best to stay as Invisible as I can because people are mean and hair-trigger these days. I've been through that. Especially on the local mass transit buses.
And I wish it weren't so, ok? Maybe I wouldn't run off at the mouth so much online if I could say something offline. But hey, what can you do, right? Times are hard.
Take care and stay safe. -_-

Yes, I repress that part of me that wants to go running down the street naked so I'll get arrested and thrown into a nice cozy padded cell with white walls, and a nice white jacket that ties in the back.

Absolutely!! I can be a HUGE flirt at times (not the touchy, grabby, creepy kind), and I have to repress this because I'm married.
Seriously, I'm a very outgoing person and I haveta hold the reins sometimes:)

I repress different parts of it depending on who I'm around. Except for here. Here I'm pretty much myself because I don't care who likes it or not.

Yes, there are certain parts of my personality that only my children see. I just think people wouldn't know how to take it. I can be very silly my kids think it hillarious, but I'm not sure my peers would find it amusing.

Yes, I have to. I'm a bit of a freak, a sexual deviant, and I'm not embarrassed to talk about any topic. I find that most other people get uncomfortable if I don't keep things in check.
