Its hard to explain. All I can say is it feels weird I am 36 weeks prego and I will feel nothing for a while then all of a sudden I will start feeling hard kicks and punches and even see my stomach moving cause he is being so active.

Imagine his or her little foot or hand lightly rubbing the inside of your stomach, that is what my first movements felt like at about 19 weeks and now at 23 weeks I can feel little kicks but most of the time it feels like he is just rolling around almost like a muscle spasm. It has to be one of the best feelings in the world.
Congrats on your little baby.

it depends how far along u are in your pregnancy
they start off where sometimes ur not even sure if its kicking u feel then as u get farther along they get harder and stronger and then towards the end of ur pregnancy they dont kick as much they just roll around..it just feels like the baby is knocking like on a door from the inside of ur stomach lol but sometimes they kick in weird places like ur ribs and that can be uncomfortable..over all it dosnt hurt and is excitting

Well it is amazing first of all, because it really makes the pregnancy so much more real being able to feel your child.

At first it will feel like butterflies.. just flutters.

But then later on it really does feel like you are being kicked, but not in a painful way.

Youll be able to see him or her kick your stomach when you get farther along.

It really is amazing...

In the beginning like little little twitches or butterflies flutteries around! Then as time goes by and the baby grows you can feel all kinds of things like body rolls and kicks and jabs to the ribs! lol!

Feeling my child move inside of me was my favorite thing about being preggos. Without being too corny...lol... it's really awesome and amazing. :-)

At first it felt like a twitch in my belly. Then it got stronger and felt more like thumping. At around 20 weeks I started to notice that I could see the thumping from the outside! Good luck and congrats!

I think it feels like this exactly... Take your first two fingers and kind of 'flick' the palm of your hand. You can feel it, but it doesn't hurt. Then imagine that feeling coming from inside your abdomen... If that makes any sense, that's EXACTLY how I think it feels. I felt nothing that I would describe as fluttering or bubbles.

FORGET THE BUTTERFLIES. when i first felt her it was like little thumps on the inside then she really started kicking me and running her fist across my belly. she is so strong, i cant believe it, i never would have thought the kicks would be this intense!!! sometimes i just have to get on my side and rock back and forth just to sooth her

It feels like butterflies in your stomach. Depending on where they are kicking, sometimes if they get you in the ribs it can pinch a little.
