Last week I was sitting in Doctors office and in came a little lady in a wheel chair her daughter behind pushing...
It was so sad how rude the daughter was to her Mother.
She stated:
Do you want to watch TV are not?
You do not need a drink of water,you can wait...several other comments.
What is ones opinion of a daughter that would treat a Mother like this?
It was horrible.
Has anyone else ever saw this before?
I can't seem to get this off my mind.

I wish the daughter could remember the nights and days her mother took care of her, and did so lovingly and with a smile in her heart if not on her face, and how many nights the mother stayed up to take care of her while she was sick, how many times did her mother pick her up when she could not walk on her own, and fed her too....the daughter is the kind of person you just want to send to siberia without a coat!!

I ran into someone like that recently, too. The elderly mother was oohing and aahing over my baby as elderly mothers will do, and the daughter was treating the mother as if she were retarded every time she asked me a question, until finally I said to the daughter "well you know, my kids range nine years apart in age and things changed a lot between the oldest and youngest in only nine years!" She kind of shut up then, and my husband came in (we were in a book store) and as it turned out-
the rude daughter I had just corrected was his new secretary.
oh, well. can't win in such situations.
It's irritating to see elderly people (or any people, but especially the elderly and children) get treated poorly, but you can bet the next time I get flowers sent from the office, there's a good chance they'll get lost ;-)

Wow! She seems upset by having to take care of her mom. Thats horribly rude. If something ever happened to my mom, i would proudly, and gladly take care of her, and treat her like the queen she is. I have respect and love for my mother, and I would be DAMNED before i ever ever EVER did that! What a little brat.

Perhaps when at home her mother is really nasty. Or maybe the daughter was just having a bad day. You should never jump to conclusions on only seeing people once.

My neice is that way with my sister. She tells her, '' Make me some food Women. '' Tells her mom to shut up, says she is fat . It takes so much from me not to beat the kid. The child is a walking demon. And the disterbing thing lately, for halloween she is going to be a Nun. Yikes!
