I do, but not because it is the law. I wear mine because I believe it will help protect me in a crash. My in-laws were in a bad head-on accident, and they walked away from it because they were wearing their seat belts.
Also, I werar mine because I hate that damn noise that comes on in my car when I don't wear it!
**Edit: I agree with many that it should not be a law. You should have the choice to wear it or not. Everyone that drives knows that they are there and what they can do for you. I wear mine because I CHOOSE to, not because I HAVE TO.

You say honestly which implies that you don't sometimes. But here's the thing and it has nothing to do whatsoever about government regulations.
If you are not wearing a belt even a minor accident can cause you to hit your head on the steering wheel. The coomon cause is when you are sitting at a light and someone plows into your backend. If in a real accident with a belt you can still maintain some control over the vehicle instead of being bounced around.
I was in a multiple car accident years ago where my car rolled 3 times. When they pried me out even the paramedics were shaking their heads wondering why I didn't even have a scrath. Sure later that day I had a huge welt from the belt but I was alive. The only 2 out of 11 cars that did not live were not wearing a belt
I have thought about this. If I had not had my belt on I would have been dead, plain and simple. I suppose it is a personal choice though. To be safer w. a belt or choose to not.

I never used to wear a seat belt. On Thanksgiving day in 1989 my uncle and one of my cousins were killed in a head on accident . Ever since then I've always worn a seatbelt. My dad won't ever wear one. He says that it traps you in the car. The thing is that you have a better chance of surviving if you don't get thrown from the vehicle.

Really depends on which state you live. I have to, cos I've received a ticket for not wearing seatbelt before.

I always wear my seatbelt. It is a habit. . .it gets clicked the minute I get in the car, no matter how short the trip is. And if you're riding in my car, you're wearing your seatbelt too.

I wear my seatbelt unless I am in a vehicle that does not have seatbelts available to me (and more often than not I wish that it did)

I usually wear it unless I'm like... in the back and the seat belt restricts my breathing, because my friends car does that, or if there's not enough room for everyone to have a seat belt in the car, but I do about 95% of the time.

I do. I refuse to drive in a car or even drive my own car if everyone isn't buckled up. It isn't about what the gov says you should or shouldn't do. Its about surviving an accident, saving everyone from seeing your brains splattered across the freeway, and saving your family from having to live with the guilt of whether or not they taught you to buckle up.
My friend is a Coroners Assistant and he hates having to clean up accidents where people didn't wear seat belts. Help make his job better and wear yours!

Always.
I saw an accident once involving someone who wasn't wearing a seat belt and he got ejected while the SUV was rolling. He made for one hell of a human missile until he hit a guardrail. I'll let your mind visualize the rest.
