You mean LAZY American. This is the fattest industrialized country in the world ( read Forbes magazine article about how the average city has an obesity factor of about 70% ). We spend more time in front of the glowing box, Ipods, MP3's and video games, while eating pizza and ice cream, than any other country. How do you think W got elected? He is was just like the rest of the people in this country - dumb, fat, rich and lazy, and his papa got him out of trouble and into the white house. Sounds like the typical American family to me.

When all of the early presidential candidates started off this time around, I was initially a supporter of Giuliani. After doing some independent research into him and a few other candidates I learned that Fred Thompson was a better candidate for me and my values.
What I think we need now is a strong leader who is going to be a steady hand at the helm of this great nation. I think that Thompson's stances on immigration, border control, terror, health care and a myriad of other topics are a perfect match for me.
I really just wish we could get him to show more enthusiasm and really start campaigning.

I'm not sure, but since the elections are over a year out, I'm too busy to focus on that right now. I am just appalled at the fact that these folks have already expended two years worth of campaign dollars! I imagine we'd be able to pay for childrens' insurance with that money...

The perfect candidate is not running. He's too smart to want the job.

Yes, the easy way was to listen to news broadcasts. Now the all accuse each other of being biased. That would indicate not one of them really have benificial information. To research each candidate would take retirees with nothing better to do. Kinda like me.

There is no perfect candidate. There may be a "best" candidate. That is the one you should vote for.

Well, I am an American, and I've studied politics very closely since I was six years old. So.. yes, I think if American's stopped being such consumers they could be knowledgeable. But why care about your country when there's a sale at macys??
