I assume this is log (base 10)

So you have:
3 = 10 log (s/n)

Divide both sides by 10:
3/10 = log(s/n)

Now raise both sides upon 10:
10^(3/10) = s/n

s/n ≈ 1.99526231

What's 10log10? Divide 3 by 10 log 10 and you have s/n
